Description
Tasks:
- Develop and maintain applications and modules on the open scientific platform using open-source SDK
- Design, implement, and maintain bioinformatics workflows (using workflow language similar to Nextflow/Snakemake)
- Collaborate with internal teams including software developers and scientists to deliver reliable, scalable and user-friendly solutions
- Work in Agile sprints with a backlog, following standard development methodologies
- Debug and report issues related to Platforma SDK integration or other platform-level technical problems
- Deliver high-quality code and documentation in line with our engineering standards
Must-have:
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science / Computational Biology / Bioinformatics
- Proven experience with workflow management tools such as Nextflow or Snakemake
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Solid experience working in a Linux environment
- Hands-on experience with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis
- Experience with databases and proficiency in other industry-standard programming languages
