"Solid content, good exercises and lots of vibrant interaction from a very diverse group. The workshop was action packed and yet had a friendly atmosphere about it. It was time well spent!"
It is generally accepted that complex projects benefit from having a Project Manager oversee and manage the entire initiative, end to end across all functions. Whilst Scrum does not advocate a Project Manager position, the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE) proposes a Release Train Engineer – a position that heavily overlaps with that of the Project Manager. On complex initiatives the Project Manager must act as chief facilitator – to establish a framework that ensures sufficient collaboration in order to get the project into “flow” state.
Past workshops have focussed on agile methods and traditional project management and whether they can co-exist though other workshops can be arranged. Workshops are packed with theory, interaction and on the spot exercises that challenge you into the application realm. The workshop is primarily aimed at Project Managers though attendees who do some project management will also fit in well.
Project management workshops have been run together with Rob Curtis of Curtis Consulting, a Helsinki based project management specialist.
