Description
Tasks:
- Run IT support for the company's local office, ensuring robust infrastructure management and rapid issue resolution
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Contribute to the architecture and optimization of the cloud infrastructure to support scalability and security of the operations
- Collaborate with global IT teams to align local systems with the company's broader technology strategy
- Implement best practices in DevOps and platform engineering to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) and infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives
- Document system configurations, updates, and processes to reference in future incidents and ensure compliance with industry standards
Must-have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in IT support, DevOps/GitOps, and platform engineering
- A self-starter with an organized and methodical approach to problem solving through attention to detail and a proven ability to build relationships with internal and external, technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced diagnostic/troubleshooting skills in Windows, Office
- Strong understanding of public cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including security and management aspects
- Recent experience with AWS
- Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
- Experience with automation tools (such as FluxCD, ArgoCD, Ansible, or Terraform)
- Fluent in English. Maintains excellent verbal communication skills and can communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all organizational levels
Nice-to-have:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Network, CISSP)
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
- Interest in financial markets and trading
