Description
Currently, they are looking for someone to join their Tech team to help them achieve their goals of changing how education providers worldwide manage their student enrolment process.
Tasks:
- Write meaningful and relatable end-user advice and step-by-step guides to the knowledge base, focusing on making connections between various features of DreamApply in a way that relates to actual user issues in admissions work
- Communicate new features ahead of time to end-users, showing them off in our release notes
- Support the marketing team to showcase our product
- Help mitigate the effects of bugs or other faults by polishing communication during crises as well as writing postmortems after the incident is resolved
- Help write technical chapters to tender documentation and maintain a tenders/sales technical FAQ. Support the sales team by writing technical descriptions for prospective customers
- Contribute to ISO and other certification documentation, related to our internal processes and product/infrastructure compliance
Must-have:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the IT industry
- Exceptional writing and editing skills in English with keen attention to detail
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly and concisely
- Familiarity with REST & HTTP ids require to be able to independently work on the API documentation and guides
- Familiarity with HTML / CSS / JS as well as the browser Developer Console is a plus, for example helping you to effectively tweak screenshots
- Ability to create accompanying visual materials, such as diagrams, screenshots, screencasts and infographics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright is a plus
- Previous experience with ISO:27001 (or similar) related documentation is a plus
