Remote Data Scientist

Haut.AI​ is developing a SaaS platform for skin health and beauty for the cosmetics industry. Their developments are based on the state-of-the-art algorithms of computer vision and machine learning. Among their clients are cosmetics companies, and plastic surgery clinics in Europe, the US, and South Korea.
Now the company is looking for a talented and motivated Data Scientist, to join their research team, developing data analytics pipeline and insight generation engine using skincare and metadata

Tasks:
  • Develop and implement deep learning algorithms for computer vision tasks, such as segmentation, classification, image generation
  • Apply classical computer vision techniques, to solve problems in computer vision
  • Report results to clients and internal stakeholders, including presenting findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting to communicate findings and results to stakeholders
  • Interpreting and analyzing data using statistical techniques to identify trends and patterns in the data
  • R&D in the area of computer vision for skincare
Must-have:
  • Strong ability to write good and reproducible code in Python, specifically with experience in Pytorch, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy and other machine learning frameworks
  • Familiarity with OpenCV or other computer vision libraries 
  • Extensive understanding of deep learning algorithms and architectures, such as CNNs (Convolutional Neural Networks) and visual transformers, and their applications to computer vision
  • Experience with segmentation, classification, and image generation tasks
  • Expertise in deep learning and computer vision algorithms and techniques, and the ability to apply them to real-world problems
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in computer vision and machine learning
  • Creative and analytical thinking skills to apply computer vision techniques to novel problems
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data with statistical techniques to identify trends and patterns
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with researchers, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Git
  • Advanced level of English
Nice-to-have:
  • Experience with self-supervised algorithms
  • Experience with Time series packages like Facebook prophet
  • Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP
