In this role, you will evangelize and drive the Observability and DevOps mindset. You will have an opportunity to level up and work with industry-leading tools and experts, and a broad mandate to influence change on an enterprise scale.

Tasks:
  • Working closely with Development teams, software architects, and other stakeholders to help them define the observability and technical operations requirements and an architectural design to achieve those goals
  • Working with Infrastructure and Operations teams across Europe to streamline the service delivery and minimize the impact of operational issues on the end-user experience 
  • Analyzing the systems and workflows to uncover and mitigate any potential weak points 
  • Acting as the interface between Business, Development, and Operations
  • Evolving the observability platform to ensure more seamless and effortless implementation of technical monitoring and ITSM processes
  • Participating in and leading experiments to ensure greater observability across our technological landscape. Some keywords: structured logging, labeling, naming conventions, alerts-as-code, dashboards-as-code, incident correlation, and automated root cause analysis
Must-have:
  • Deep familiarity with DevOps principles and culture 
  • A reasonable level of competence in software development (.NET stack preferred), application monitoring & support, and system & network administration would be a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of a cloud hosting platform (Azure preferred), Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, MSSQL, and different monitoring tools, like New Relic, Application Insights, Dynatrace, etc 
  • A minimum of 3 years of working experience in a related field, and experience in working with Agile and Scrum methodologies
