DevOps Engineer

Core Tech Overview:
The scanning solution is the most scalable way to acquire property interior data. Enabling any space to be indexed, searched, sorted, and understood.

We are focusing on >$10B property data business in the US. Our "Video to BIM"​ technology enables the fastest way to acquire a huge amount of property interior data. Our unique business model together with AI technology ensures that our Property data API will become the standard in the US and global market.
We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer that will help our team establish DevOps practice. You will work closely with the technical lead and CTO to identify and establish DevOps practices in the company.

Our backend team is responsible for building the CubiCasa Core platform. Together the team designs and implements a collection of APIs and services ranging from machine learning pipelines to web APIs used by internal tools and customer facing services.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with distributed cloud-based environments (preferably AWS).
  • Strong knowledge and experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Infrastructure as Code principles and tools (e.g. Terraform).
  • Proficiency in scripting, including Bash, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining centralized logging and monitoring systems for microservices.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD solutions.
  • Experience with version control systems.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to document findings with clarity.  
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of database platforms such as Postgres, Redis or similar.
  • Experience in software development with Go or other mainstream languages.
  • Knowledge of network architecture and cyber security.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and optimize infrastructure and monitoring systems.
  • Research, design, and implement infrastructural solutions with a focus on performance, security, scalability and reliability. 
  • Work closely with Software engineers to implement strategies for CI and release management. 
  • Actively participate in discussions and brainstorm with team members for best DevOps practices and modern toolings.
  • Report and document procedures.
  • Support other teams for automating complex or manual processes.
  • Support security audits of compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
