Lead Full-Stack JavaScript Developer

Remote or Helsinki, Finland
MoVal is a Finnish services company providing high-level IT expertise combined with business area-specific know-how. The company helps with project management, software development and deployment, cloud development etc.
They are seeking to strengthen their cross-functional scrum team with an experienced Lead Full-Stack JavaScript Developer to join its customer who works in the financial sphere.

Tasks:
  • Working with the client's Genesys Cloud platform
  • Maintenance of the infrastructure for all the incoming & outgoing phone calls and digital contacts with the customers
  • Maintenance of the team’s software development work
  • Filling the architectural needs and given requirements. Making sure that the software architecture is developing in the right direction
  • Keeping contact with the business stakeholders and interpreting their needs into technical solutions
  • Integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Must-have:
  • Previous experience as a Lead Software Developer
  • 1-2 years of backend development experience with Node.js and AWS
  • Hands-on experience with the following stack: 
    • JavaScript
    • TypeScript
    • React
    • MySQL
  • Experience in team management using Agile methodology
  • Professional English, written and spoken
Nice-to-have:
  • Interest in software architecture and capability to lead its development
  • Experience in DevOps models and interest in process automation (e.g., Robot Framework or Continuous Delivery).
  • Fluency in Finnish
