Web Application Developer

Following this vision, the Scanbot team offers state-of-the-art, machine-learning based Software Development Kits (SDKs) for enterprise customers around the globe.

The solutions allow customers such as AXA, Generali, Aflac, Telekom, or DATEV, to integrate resilient Barcode Scanning, Document Scanning, or Data Extraction features inside of their mobile apps or websites.
Tasks:  
  • Help architect, build, iterate, and manage our Web SDK
  • You develop and maintain our Web SDK example apps and tech docs
  • Research and develop solutions based on the latest web technologies
  • Partner closely with product management to continuously improve our product offering
  • Help to raise the overall skill and quality level through code reviews
  • Design and implement automated tests
  • Investigate and fix bugs reported by the QA team and our customers
  • Improve the cutting-edge scanning and data extraction SDK
  • Integrate new features coming from the ML team
Must-have: 
  • 4+ years of experience in developing web applications using Node.js
  • Proven track record of experience using one of the following JavaScript frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Experience with WebAssembly or several years of experience with C/C++ 
  • Willingness to learn other cross-platform mobile technologies
  • Fluency in English
Nice-to-have:
  •  C/C++ expertise
