Description
With solid growth over 5 years, billions of API calls served on its belt, our client is now poised for solid growth and looking to strengthen its team globally and right now is looking for a passionate Test Engineer for their software product development. As a test engineer, you will be responsible for planning and implementing tests that prove the functional and non-functional requirements of the product.
Must-have skills:
- Good analytical skills & problem-solving approach
- Must be able to identify test scenarios and test cases from requirements documents
- Good expertise in writing and executing test cases
- Strong knowledge of the Test methodologies, SDLC (i.e. Agile, Scrum), STLC, Bug Life Cycle
- Working knowledge of Automation Tools (e.g. Selenium, JMeter, HP UFT)
- Experience in any of the Test Automation frameworks
- Working knowledge of any of the Issue Tracking / Project Management tools (e.g. Jira, Bugzilla)
- Working knowledge of any of the Test Management Tools (e.g. TestRail, QMetry)
- Working knowledge of any version control system (e.g. SVN, git)
- Must be able to report bugs effectively
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
Nice-to-have skills:
- ISTQB Certification
- Agile Processes and DevOps experience along with continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Exposure to performance testing
- Working knowledge of any programming/scripting language
- Knowledge of Software Build Automation tools (e.g. Maven, Ant, Gradle)
