Their AI sensing devices are backed by discerning machine learning algorithms, eschewing the risk and invasion of privacy that live feeds and recordings from indoor security cameras and voice assistants could pose.

The company is looking for a Full-Stack Rails Developer to help drive a future of intelligent sensing:
Tasks:
Tasks:
- Design and develop data exploration and visualization features in the web dashboard using Ruby on Rails and modern Hotwire stack (Turbo and Stimulus)
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to implement effective visualizations
- Create efficient and scalable database queries for complex data analysis Implement and optimize database schemas and queries for large datasets
- Develop and maintain a full stack of UI and RESTful resources
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Ruby code
- Take responsibility for the operations of the software in production
Must-have:
- 5+ years of experience in Software Development
- Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and its ecosystem
- Extensive experience with SQL and query performance optimization
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficiency with front-end build tools and asset pipeline
- Experience with modern Rails patterns (Turbo, Stimulus)
- Experience with test-driven development using RSpec or Minitest
- Good level of English (written and verbal)
- Experience communicating effectively with colleagues in different geographies and time zones
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and work with a bit of ambiguity
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, or similar)
- Experience with analytics functions and data aggregation in PostgreSQL (window functions, CTEs)
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first frameworks
- Understanding of web application security best practices
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for Rails applications
- Experience with deployment and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Docker
