Description
Now the company is looking for a Data Engineer to join their growing Data & ML platform team
Tasks:
Tasks:
- Data Ingestion: Retrieve and securely store data from multiple sources and formats at regular intervals
- Data Processing: Develop and optimize scalable data processing scripts using tools like Polars, Xarray, Dask, Ray on distributed compute environments
- Data Monitoring: Build tooling for continuous monitoring and quality control of data using frameworks like Great Expectations
Must-have:
- 2-6 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering, ideally in the renewable energy or wind energy forecasting space
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience with large-scale data pipelines (TB-scale) in production environments
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Git
- Fluent in English, with the ability to travel for team meetings across Europe
- Must be eligible to live and work in the EU without sponsorship
Nice-to-have:
- Cloud certification (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) at the associate level
- Familiarity with data formats such as NetCDF, GRIB, or Zarr
- Experience in handling high-dimensional data in a production environment
- Experience with CI/CD for data engineering workflows
