Remote Unity Developer

Remote
roometric is a Berlin-based proptech startup. Their aim is to build an AR-driven software platform to change the real-estate industry.
Tasks:
  • Tackle real-world problems with Unity and have a meaningful impact on the future way of living
  • Write beautifully clean and scalable code that is as readable as a book
  • Come up with cool features and champion their implementation through planning, roadmaps, and priority setting
  • Accelerate time to impact through experimentation, prototyping, and execution, identify success metrics, monitor, collect feedback and improve deployed products
  • Continuously communicate with company's product and marketing team and understand underlying connections to the challenges their customers are facing
Must-have:
  • 2+ years of practical experience in Unity programming
  • Be up-to-date on innovations across the broader developer community to help identify new opportunities
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Fluent in English
Nice-to-have:
  • Web development experience
  • Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical field

Interview process:

  2. First interview (30 minutes)
  3. Take-home coding challenge (basics of C# and Unity for 1-2 hours) 
  4. Live coding challenge (debugging a problem in Unity for 2-3 hours)
  5. Meet the team & brainstorm (1-2 hours)
