Right now the company is looking for an experienced tech Support Engineer to join the team.
Tasks:
Tasks:
- Serve as the direct contact and adviser for customer inquiries about Stakater App Agility Platform - SAAP (a.k.a. Red Hat OpenShift as a service) on public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) and bare metal
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by using professional communication skills, applying existing knowledge and deep troubleshooting to resolve a variety of issues
- Partner with Stakater cloud partners to jointly solve multi-vendor customer issues
- Consult raised issues with engineers and developers to promote creative solutions and improve customer satisfaction
- Contribute to the global Stakater knowledge management system
- Work in Stakater ticketing systems and tools to directly assist SAAP customers while cooperating with other Red Hat’s engineers and teams
- Be available to perform weekend shift duties on a rotational schedule
- Contribute to the open-source community and to the code of our offerings
Must-have:
- Solid Linux experience at a Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA)-like level; excellent system administration skills
- Experience working in technical support or in customer-facing roles
- Good knowledge of containers; knowledge of Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform; Microsoft Azure knowledge is a plus
- Solid troubleshooting skills and passion for problem-solving and investigation
Nice-to-have:
- Scripting language skills or programming knowledge
- Upstream involvement in open source projects like patches submitted for upstream inclusion
- Red Hat certification
- Experience with or certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Passion for open source software
- Excellent verbal and written skills in Swedish
