Mechanical System Engineer

Tasks:
  • Support the development/improvement of various mechanical systems and components
  • Requirements definition, validation, and verification to meet FAR/EASA-CS 23 regulations
  • Technical liaison and vendor management with external suppliers of systems and components
  • Create test reports and certification reports
  • Support aircraft production and in-service technical queries
  • Technical management of vendor development projects
Must-have:
  • University Degree in aeronautical, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace mechanical systems within a development, integration & certification environment
  • Strong knowledge in the following aircraft mechanical systems: Secondary Flight Control System (e.g. trims, flaps, spoilers), actuators
  • Knowledge of CS/FAR Part 23 and RTCA DO-160, -178, -254 and SAE ARP 4754A
  • Proven strong project & supplier management skills and excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical problems
  • Excellent communication skills in a multinational working environment: Good written and spoken English is essential (CEFR Level C2 or IELTS 8)
